Description:
Array Digitals is seeking a Node JS Backend Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side web applications and APIs using Node.js, working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. The Node JS Backend Developer will be responsible for writing clean and efficient code, testing, and debugging applications, and collaborating with Front-End Developers to deliver exceptional user experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain server-side web applications and APIs using Node JS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, Front-End Developers, and other developers, to develop and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Test and debug server-side applications to ensure high-quality and error-free code.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and consistency.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, programming languages, and best practices to continuously improve server-side development processes.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to understand project requirements and provide timely updates on project progress.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, diagrams, and user manuals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in server-side web development, preferably in an Agile development environment.
- Strong knowledge of Node.js and its core modules.
- Experience with server-side frameworks such as Express.js or Hapi.js.
- Familiarity with front-end development languages and frameworks such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
- Familiarity with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify and troubleshoot issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
