We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network management, with expertise in Cisco switches, firewalls, optical fiber, and network wiring. This role requires hands-on experience in maintaining and troubleshooting network systems to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications
- Network Administration and Network Engineering skills
- Proven experience as a Network Support Engineer or similar role.
- Expertise in managing Cisco switches and firewalls.
- Strong knowledge of optical fiber and network wiring.
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting experience
- Network Security knowledge
- Certifications in relevant areas such as CCNA
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment, including Cisco switches, firewalls, and optical fiber systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Perform network wiring and ensure proper installation and maintenance of network infrastructure.
- Monitor network performance and implement improvements as needed.
- Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement network solutions.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users as required.
- Ensure network security and compliance with company policies.
