At 360factors we are looking for a Network & IT Support Engineer who will be responsible for providing support to our employees. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and be knowledgeable in a wide range of IT areas such as Networking, Active Directory, SharePoint, Microsoft Office365, Microsoft Azure, AWS Cloud Services and especially in Linux Operating Systems.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Train new employees on company IT policies and procedures
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Servers/desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other office equipment & also respond to tech enquiries.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory
- Test, plan and supervise the deployment of new operating system releases, vendor patches, commercial software releases, and public domain software.
- Communicate staff feedback to the appropriate internal team members
- Perform regular backups and monitor system performance
- Keep abreast of latest IT developments and make recommendations for improvements
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect company data
- Coordinate with external IT vendors for support
- Prepare reports on IT support activity & after-hours support as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
- 2+ years professional experience in IT support or similar role
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and a team player to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
