Mern Stack Developer

Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mern Stack Developer at Viral Square located in Lahore. The Mern Stack Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) stack. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, creating and implementing software solutions, conducting code reviews, and ensuring the scalability and performance of applications.

Responsibilities:

● Design and develop user interfaces using React.js and related frameworks

● Develop scalable and secure server-side applications using Node.js, Nest.js and Express.js

● Worked with both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) to efficiently store and retrieve data.

● Collaborate with project managers, team leads, and other developers to implement and improve software solutions

● Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code

● Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers

● Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and technologies

● Effectively communicate with clients to understand their requirements, expectations, and feedback, utilizing excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements:

● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field

● 2-3 years of experience as a MERN Stack developer

● Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web development technologies

● Experience with RESTful API design and implementation

● Strong understanding of database design and querying, with both PostgreSQL and MongoDB

● Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies

● Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

● Strong communication and collaboration skills

● Ability to mentor and guide junior developers

● AWS experience would be a plus
