Mern Developer (backend Focus)

Description:

OptimusFox is looking for an experienced MERN Developer to join their team, with a focus on backend development (primarily Node.js). In this critical role, you will:

• Develop and maintain the backend of web applications using Node.js, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Integrate front-end elements built by your teammates into the application.
• Utilize cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure for scalable and reliable system infrastructure.
• Work with Blockchain technologies to integrate and implement various blockchain solutions.
• Collaborate closely with other developers, project managers, and designers to develop innovative solutions and achieve project goals.
• Ensure the security and efficiency of all backend systems and applications.
• Follow best practices in software development and contribute to the overall growth of the development team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop scalable, secure, and maintainable server-side applications using Node.js.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Implement server-side logic and integrate with front-end applications.
• Integrate with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for storage, security, and scalability.
• Work on Blockchain technologies and their integration with web applications.
• Participate in designing and architecting systems for both new and existing projects.
• Collaborate with a team to write high-quality code and meet business objectives.
• Actively participate in code reviews and ensure high standards of code quality.

Qualifications

• Educational Requirements:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience:

  • Proven experience with MERN stack development, focusing on backend technologies (Node.js).
  • Strong experience with AWS or Azure for cloud-based solutions.
  • Familiarity with Blockchain technologies and their integration.
  • Solid understanding of web development principles and best practices.

• Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of backend development tasks.
  • Knowledge of database management and design (e.g., MongoDB, SQL).

Work Details

• Timings: 10 AM – 7 PM (Flexible)
• Work Environment: Onsite at Management House, Johar Town, Lahore.
• Note: Immediate joiners are preferred due to the urgency of this position.
