Mep Operations Specialist

Description:

Shaheen Services Pvt. Limited is seeking an MEP Operations Specialist to join their team in Karachi. The role requires a professional with comprehensive technical knowledge and hands-on experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functionality of all MEP systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and supporting the maintenance and improvement of these systems in the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mechanical Systems:

  • Inspect, install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, ventilation systems, and other mechanical equipment.
  • Monitor and optimize energy efficiency and performance of mechanical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with mechanical codes and standards.

• Electrical Systems:

  • Perform installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and backup systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement timely repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and standards.

• Plumbing Systems:

  • Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and sanitary fixtures.
  • Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues promptly.
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure plumbing systems meet local regulations and standards.

• General Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of all MEP systems.
  • Coordinate with other facility management teams to address system-related issues.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed maintenance logs, inspection reports, and service records.
  • Support the design, planning, and execution of new installations or upgrades of MEP systems.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies at all times.
  • Train and guide junior staff or technicians as required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in MEP systems within a facility management or construction environment.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and handle multiple projects.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
