Medical Officer

Description:

Ingredion, a Fortune 500 ingredient solutions provider, is seeking a Medical Officer for its Faisalabad plant. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for employees through medical consultations, emergency response, and occupational health initiatives.

Core Responsibilities:

✔ Medical Consultations: Provide primary medical care, including diagnosis, first aid treatment, and referrals.
✔ Occupational Health: Conduct workplace risk assessments, monitor employee health, and implement preventive measures for work-related illnesses.
✔ Emergency Response: Respond to medical emergencies, provide first aid, and coordinate evacuations if necessary.
✔ Medical Administration: Maintain accurate medical records, manage approved medical supplies, and train staff on health & safety protocols.
✔ Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local health regulations, company policies, and international medical standards.

Mandatory Requirements:

✔ Education & Certifications:

• MBBS (FCPS)/MD or equivalent medical degree (RMP).

• Valid medical license.

• BLS/ACLS certification (or equivalent).

✔ Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in occupational health, general practice, or a related field.

✔ Skills & Competencies:

• Strong clinical & communication skills.

• Ability to work independently & in a team.

• Familiarity with occupational health & safety regulations.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office & electronic medical records.
