Key Responsibilities:

1. Claims Processing: Accurately prepare, submit, and follow up on medical insurance claims to ensure timely reimbursement.


2. Billing and Coding: Verify patient information, assign accurate medical codes (CPT, ICD-10), and generate billing invoices.


3. Accounts Receivable Management: Monitor and manage accounts receivables, identify delinquent accounts, and resolve discrepancies.


4. Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility to ensure accurate billing.


5. Compliance: Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, and maintain the confidentiality of patient records.


6. Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on billing activities and financial outcomes for management.


7. Communication: Liaise with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients to resolve billing issues.



Qualifications and Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance, healthcare management, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing, preferably in the US healthcare system.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in medical billing software (e.g., Kareo, AdvancedMD) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of medical terminology, billing codes, and insurance policies.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

Language: Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
