Medical Biller

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Biller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the billing processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the submission and follow-up of medical claims. This role requires a thorough understanding of medical billing procedures, insurance policies, and excellent communication skills to interact with healthcare providers and insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit accurate medical claims to insurance companies and patients.
• Review and verify patient billing information for accuracy and completeness.
• Follow up on unpaid claims and investigate claim denials.
• Communicate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve billing issues.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance policies, procedures, and medical coding guidelines.
• Generate and analyze billing reports to identify and address discrepancies.
• Provide support and guidance to other billing staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical billing.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, billing procedures, and insurance policies.
• Proficiency in medical billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance standards.
