Mechanical Technical Officer

Description:

The Technical Officer - Reliability will be responsible for performing vibration analysis, conducting condition monitoring, providing onsite balancing, and executing precise laser alignment services. Your expertise will help us deliver top-notch service to our clients, ensuring their equipment operates at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct vibration analysis on a wide range of rotating equipment, including pumps, motors, fans, compressors, and turbines, to identify and diagnose potential issues.
• Perform condition monitoring using various techniques such as vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasound, and oil analysis to assess equipment health.
• Carry out onsite balancing of rotating machinery to minimize vibration and improve equipment longevity and efficiency.
• Utilize laser alignment tools to perform precise alignment of machinery, reducing wear and tear and preventing future equipment failures.
• Interpret and analyze data collected from vibration analysis and other condition monitoring techniques to provide actionable recommendations for maintenance and
repair.
• Prepare detailed reports on findings, including recommendations for corrective actions, and communicate results to clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their specific needs and provide tailored condition monitoring and alignment solutions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices, tools, and technologies in vibration analysis, condition monitoring, onsite balancing, and laser alignment.
• Ensure all services are performed in compliance with safety standards, regulations, and
company policies.
• Strong attention to detail and Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using vibration data collectors, analyzers, balancing equipment, and laser alignment tools (e.g., SKF, Erbessd, or similar equipment).
