Description:
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer who is passionate about design and innovation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience using SolidWorks to create detailed 3D models and technical drawings for mechanical components and assemblies. This role requires a highly skilled individual capable of translating complex ideas into functional and manufacturable designs.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop 3D models of mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and engineering to ensure design feasibility and functionality.
- Conduct simulations and analyses using SolidWorks to validate designs and optimize performance.
- Participate in design reviews, providing technical insights and recommendations for improvements.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring designs are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Resolve design-related issues and implement changes based on feedback and testing results.
- Stay updated with the latest SolidWorks features and best practices to enhance design efficiency.
Requirements:
- DAE / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer with a strong focus on SolidWorks.
- Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks, including 3D modeling, simulation, and technical drawing.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Certification in SolidWorks (CSWP or higher) is a plus.
