Description:
We are on the lookout for a dynamic Manager Trade Finance & Commercial to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the trade finance process for power generation projects, including letters of credit, guarantees, and other instruments.
- Negotiate and structure favorable commercial terms for power generation contracts, considering factors like pricing, payment terms, risk allocation, and warranties.
- Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other stakeholders involved in trade finance transactions.
- Work collaboratively with sales, finance, engineering, and other internal departments to ensure project success.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the trade finance and commercial functions.
Qualifications and Key Experience:
- Master Business Administration Supply Chain or a related field international certification (CSCP preferred).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in trade finance, with a strong focus on the power generation sector a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of trade finance instruments (letters of credit, shipping document, documentary collections, etc.) and commercial contracting principles.
- Proven experience in negotiating and structuring complex commercial agreements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in a second language (especially relevant for international trade) is a plus.
