Qualification

Minimum 5 years of experience as Senior level in Finance & Accounts department of Insurance Company. CA/ICMA/CIMA/ACCA or Masters in Finance and equivalent would be preferred.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Manager Corporate Finance located in Karachi . The candidate will be majorly responsible for following tasks :-

• Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and finalize quarterly and annual financial statements for both Conventional and Takaful businesses.
• Management Accounts: Oversee the preparation and finalization of management accounts , ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
• Board Reporting: Prepare board papers and detailed financial workings for presentation to the board, ensuring clarity and transparency in financial reporting.
• Audit Coordination: Lead coordination with external auditors for the timely execution of half-yearly and annual audits, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Schedule Finalization: Finalize key financial schedules relating to investments, solvency, fixed assets, intra-company settlements, SBP, IAP & SECP returns.
• Internal Controls: Establish and implement effective internal controls to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations and compliance with company policies.
• Reconciliation and Adjustments: Oversee the reconciliation, investigation, correction, and adjustment of books of accounts, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
• Routine Financial Supervision: Supervise day-to-day financial operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial data and proper implementation of internal controls.
