Description:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business management.
Experience: At least 12 years of procurement and contracting experience, out of which at least 5 years in the oil and gas industry is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting Market Due Diligence in an effort to increase the supplier base and serve as a singular point of contact for all Contract (Pre and Post) concerning matters.
- Communicate and present information to stakeholders about all contract-related matters.
- Monitor contracts and move forward with close out, extension or renewals as per Company requirement.
- Handle claims efficiently by initiating, investigating, evaluating, and resolving them, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Develop, negotiate, evaluate and execute a wide variety of different contracts covering Oil and Gas industry.
- Lead the formulation of the annual contracting plans for materials and services and support their implementation.
- Lead the execution of the RFP processes for material procurement, evaluation of vendors, negotiation and sign off.
- Ensure that the commercial guidelines and relevant policies and procedures of the company are being abided by during the process.
· Manage contracts, supplier relationships, negotiations, and collaborate with internal departments.
- Manage technical evaluation of the products before induction to ensure policy compliance.
· Develop strategies to maximize efficiency, expand vendor database, reduce costs, and minimize liability exposure.
