Description:
The Manager of Business Development and Sponsorships at the Pakistan International Disputes Weekend (PIDW) will be responsible for driving business growth and securing sponsorships to support the event. This role will combine strategic business development initiatives with the identification, acquisition, and management of national and international sponsorships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in both areas, leveraging relationships to secure funding and partnerships while expanding PIDW’s presence in new and existing markets. This person will play a key role in fostering long-term relationships with sponsors, partners, and stakeholders to ensure the continued growth and success of PIDW.
Key Responsibilities
1) Sponsorship & Partnerships Development
- Identify, approach, and secure national and international sponsors to financially support PIDW.
- Develop innovative sponsorship packages that appeal to a diverse array of sponsors, ensuring the highest possible return on investment for partners.
- Manage sponsor relationships, ensuring their needs are met and that they receive the maximum visibility before, during, and after the event.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with industry leaders, key stakeholders, and influential organizations.
2) Business Development & Strategic Growth
- Drive business development initiatives by identifying and pursuing new opportunities for PIDW’s growth in both existing and new markets.
- Develop strategic partnerships with other organizations, industry bodies, and government entities to expand PIDW’s influence.
- Research and identify emerging trends in dispute resolution and arbitration to ensure PIDW remains at the forefront of industry developments.
3) Event Promotion & Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead promotional efforts, creating targeted campaigns that attract high-profile participants, sponsors, and media coverage.
- Engage with stakeholders, including government officials, legal professionals, and corporate executives, to foster strong partnerships and ensure the success of PIDW.
- Manage on-site presence during the event, ensuring sponsors, speakers, and attendees have a seamless experience and maintaining PIDW’s brand visibility.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 - 5 years in business development, sponsorship acquisition, or partnership management, preferably within events or the legal sector.
