A well reputed Manufacturing, Trading and Distribution company, located in Faisalabad, is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to join our team. As an Accounts Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and optimizing financial performance. Responsibilities:

 

1. Financial Management:

- Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.

- Monitor and analyze accounting data, produce financial reports, and ensure accuracy.

- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.

 

2. Cost Accounting:

- Set standard costs for manufactured goods.

- Develop and analyze cost standards.

- Conduct cost-volume-profit (CVP) analysis.

- Determine costs for business processes (administration, labor, shipping, etc.).

 

3. Tax Accounting:

- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations.

- Prepare and file tax returns accurately and timely.

- Advise on tax planning and optimization strategies.

- Handle tax audits and liaise with tax authorities.

 

4. Periodic Internal Audits:

- Perform the full audit cycle, including risk management and control management.

- Evaluate financial reliability and compliance with applicable directives and regulations.

- Prepare audit reports and present findings to management.

- Recommend changes to reduce costs and maximize profit.

 

5. Collaboration:

- Work closely with the Financial Management and Sales / Marketing teams.

- Provide recommendations for corrective actions and process improvements.

- Maintain open communication with management and the audit committee.

 

Requirements:

 

- Proven working experience as an Internal Auditor, Accounting Manager, or Finance Manager.

- Advanced computer skills (MS Office, accounting software, and databases).

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Sound independent judgment.

- At least Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
