Description:
As the Manager Accounts, you will be responsible for the overall management of our accounting department. You will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, manage day-to-day accounting operations, and oversee the preparation of financial statements. This role requires a strategic thinker who can improve processes, ensure compliance, and support the financial health of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the accounting team, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
- Coordinate and oversee audits and tax filings, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management to support decision-making.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Continuously assess and improve accounting processes to optimize performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CA, CMA) is highly preferred.
- Proven experience as a Manager Accounts or in a similar senior accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software, with experience in QuickBooks Online being a plus.
