Leads Data Scraping Specialist

Description:

We are looking for an experienced Data Scraping Specialist who will be responsible for collecting contractor data from several prominent lead data provider platforms, such as ConstructConnect, Dodge Data & Analytics, ZoomInfo, Blue Book Building & Construction Network, Lead411, and others. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in web scraping, data extraction, and proficiency in using scraping tools and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Extract and compile data from designated websites such as ConstructConnect, Dodge Data & Analytics, ZoomInfo, Blue Book Building & Construction Network, and others.

Develop and maintain data scraping scripts using programming languages like Python (e.g., using BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium).

Ensure data accuracy and integrity during the collection process by implementing thorough validation checks.

Clean, organize, and format extracted data for integration into databases or spreadsheets.

Stay up-to-date with changes to website structures and adapt scraping scripts accordingly.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise during data extraction.

Collaborate with the project team to ensure data requirements are fully met.


Requirements:

Proven experience as a Data Scraping Specialist or in a similar role involving large-scale data extraction.

Proficiency in Python and experience using scraping frameworks such as BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium, or similar tools.

Familiarity with different types of web structures (HTML, JavaScript) and handling website changes.

Knowledge of data cleaning and formatting practices, ensuring a high level of data accuracy.

Experience with database management or data organization tools.

Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize scraping scripts for performance and reliability.

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.


Preferred Skills:

Experience scraping data from lead data platforms such as ConstructConnect, Dodge Data & Analytics, ZoomInfo, etc.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) for data storage.

Experience with APIs for data collection.
