Description:
Cogent Labs is actively seeking an experienced Lead UI/UX Designer to spearhead design initiatives for our Lahore office. This is a unique opportunity to play a lead role in crafting seamless user experiences across web and mobile platforms, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all UI/UX design aspects for both web and mobile platforms.
- Lead the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterate designs based on feedback.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define design requirements and implement creative solutions.
- Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and pattern libraries.
- Create compelling 2D/3D assets, icons, and other visual elements as needed.
Must-Have Requirements:
- At least 6 years of professional experience in UI/UX design.
- Strong product sense to deeply understand user problems and align designs to solve them effectively.
- Proven ability to convert user requirements into sitemaps, wireframes, and low-fidelity prototypes.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and other relevant platforms.
- Updated knowledge of UI/UX design trends to maintain aesthetic relevance and competitiveness.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and modern design best practices.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills to articulate design concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Good to Have:
- Experience with prototyping tools like InVision, Axure, or Proto.io.
- Understanding of front-end development technologies and ability to work closely with developers.
- Familiarity with AR/VR design experiences.
- Strong sense of aesthetics, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Hands-on experience conducting user research and usability testing, with the ability to incorporate findings into design improvements.
