Lead Agile Java Engineer

Description:

• Writing, testing, debugging and documenting java code
• Managing the team members to ensure that they are on track with their respective sprints and tasks
• Communicating with all features-based teams in-order to understand, support, clarifying technical design & estimations
• Working with other developers to ensure that code meets organization defined secure coding standards, best practices and quality guidelines
• Reviewing project proposals from product owners to determine feasibility and provide high level estimation
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge about new java technologies, continue to work towards improvements in code
• Manage technical debt within java back-end development
• Evaluating new technology using spikes whenever required and recommending changes to existing systems considering support and maintainability
• Maintaining current knowledge on product domain areas and also take part in new feature thinking
• Contribute towards Technology Roadmap
• Contribute to the planning, execution and review of each sprint
• Work with development team to refine and improve the development process
• Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process
• Experience in managing teams in a matrix feature based product development organization
• Contribute towards sprint planning
• Attend and Contribute Sprint Retrospective meetings
• People Management
• Maintain the skills level metrics of all team members
• Manage and mentor team members performance
• Domain cross skilling of team members
• Line management for leave approvals, utilization etc
