Plexus is representing a leading Contract Research Organisation (CRO) specializing in oncology-focused clinical research solutions. Our client is seeking a Senior Director of Strategic Accounts for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region to drive business growth and strengthen client relationships.
The Senior Director of Strategic Accounts will be responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans, identifying new business opportunities, and fostering partnerships with key clients in the APAC region.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets in the APAC region.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies in the oncology space.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including key opinion leaders, decision-makers, and influencers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts, addressing their needs, concerns, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical operations, biometrics, and regulatory affairs, to ensure client needs are met and projects are delivered successfully.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and client needs to identify opportunities for new service offerings and expansion into new therapeutic areas.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on account performance, business development activities, and market trends in the APAC region.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in strategic account management, business development, or sales within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO industry.
- Strong knowledge of the oncology market and clinical research landscape in the APAC region.
- Proven track record of driving business growth and achieving revenue targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute innovative account plans that align with business goals.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in other languages spoken in the APAC region is a plus.
