Description:

Kinectro is seeking a motivated and skilled Junior Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer with 1-2 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software development processes and possess a keen eye for detail to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. This role will primarily focus on testing applications developed using MERN Stack and .Net technologies.

Responsibilities:

-Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and specifications.
-Design and develop test cases, test plans, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.
-Execute test cases and identify, analyse, and report software defects and issues.
-Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure the quality of software applications.
-Participate in code reviews to identify potential quality issues and provide feedback to the development team.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software releases meet quality standards and project deadlines.
-Continuously enhance and improve the testing processes, methodologies, and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
-Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in software quality assurance and testing.
-Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues reported by customers or end-users.

Requirements:

-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
-1-2 years of experience in software quality assurance.
-Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
-Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
-Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
-Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively within a team environment.
-Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
-Experience in testing applications developed using MERN Stack and .Net technologies. (Strong Plus)
-Proficiency in developing and executing automated test scripts using industry-standard testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or similar)(Strong Plus)
