Description:
We are seeking a talented Junior Shopify Web Developer to assist in the development and maintenance of Shopify-based websites for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of web development, experience with Shopify, and a passion for creating engaging and functional e-commerce solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Shopify Development: Assist in the development and customization of Shopify themes and templates, ensuring they meet client requirements and adhere to best practices.
- Front-End Development: Implement and modify HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create visually appealing and user-friendly web pages.
- Back-End Support: Assist with the integration of third-party applications, APIs, and Shopify apps to enhance website functionality.
- Testing and Debugging: Conduct testing to identify and fix bugs or issues, ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
- Content Management: Update and manage website content, including product listings, images, and blog posts.
- Client Communication: Work closely with team members to gather requirements, provide updates, and address any issues or concerns.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of code, development processes, and project requirements.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 06 months to 01 year of experience in web development, with a focus on Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms. Relevant internships or freelance work will be considered.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Basic understanding of Liquid (Shopify's templating language) is a plus.
- Shopify Knowledge: Familiarity with Shopify's admin interface, theme customization, and app integrations.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
