Description:
A software house located in Karachi looking for a “Mid-level PHP Backend Developer” for its Australian liaison office.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: BS/MS degree in computer science or a related field from a reputable university.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in a software house with a proven track record.
- PHP Expertise: Must currently be working as a PHP Backend Developer.
- Core PHP & MVC: Strong command over Core PHP and MVC design patterns is essential.
- PHP Frameworks: Experience at least one PHP framework such as Symfony, Laravel, CodeIgniter, Zend, CakePHP.
- OpenCart Experience: Must have hands-on experience with OpenCart, specifically versions below 3.0.
- CRUD Operations: Familiarity CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations along with PHP Version 8 or higher.
- Front-End Knowledge: Understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js, React.js.
- Database Skills: Proficiency with both SQL/NoSQL databases, with the ability to develop complex SQL statements.
- RESTful APIs: Experience in creating and implementing RESTful APIs.
- Plugin & API Integration: Ability to write plugins and integrate third-party APIs.
- Payment Integration: Knowledge of integrating different payment methods like PayPal, Poli, Stripe, Braintree, etc.
- E-Commerce: Hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms.
- Additional CMS Experience: Experience with OpenCart, WordPress, and advanced knowledge of OpenCart is highly desirable.
- Scalable Applications: Previous experience in creating scalable applications.
- Version Control: Proficiency with code versioning tools such as Git, Bitbucket.
- Critical Thinking: Ability to implement ideas, strategies, and add value to the team.
- Experience with Shopify and Magento is a plus.
