CEQUENS, a leading cloud communication platform in the Middle East and Africa region, is seeking a Junior Legal Manager to join its team. The Junior Legal Manager will provide support to the legal department and assist in managing the company's legal affairs. CEQUENS is dedicated to simplifying communications and building bridges to allow businesses to communicate with their customers, no matter where they are. The company provides Omni-Channel communication API’s enabling enterprises and developers to communicate with their customer base worldwide, including reputable names like Google, Alibaba, and HSBC. The successful candidate will join a team of dedicated professionals committed to delivering the best digital customer experience by providing real-time voice, messaging services, and phone messaging.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including contracts, leases, and service agreements
  • Perform legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Coordinate with external counsel to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of legal matters
  • Participate in company meetings and provide legal guidance as needed
  • Maintain accurate legal records and documentation
  • Develop and implement corporate legal policies and procedures
  • Assist in managing the company's intellectual property portfolio

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a legal role, preferably in the telecommunications industry
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of commercial and business law
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
