Junior Devops Engineer

Description:

• Building and setting up new environments in AWS and Azure
• Developing scripts to automate the provisioning of environments
• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
• Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
• Planning out sprints and being involved in the estimation of user stories
• Deploying updates and fixes using CI/CD pipelines
• Building tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance

Job Specification

• Bachelor in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
• 2 years experience as a DevOps Engineer in a cloud environment.
• Experience in managing large production/live environments using infrastructure as code (terraform, cloud formation) Required Skills Knowledge of Kubernetes clusters and workloads Working knowledge of CI/CD pipeline Scripting experience with Groovy and Jenkins Proficient with git and git workflows Good knowledge of Python Problem-solving attitude
• Good knowledge of databases Linux Cli experience Any Scripting languages - Python, Perl, Bash.
