Description:
Job Responsibilities:
Accounts Preparation and Bookkeeping:
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations
- Track and record expenses
- Process customer and supplier invoices, manage receivables and payables
- Assist in payroll processing
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports
- Conduct variance and trend analysis
- Assist in budget preparation and forecasting
- Support internal and external audits
Data Collection and Analysis:
- Enter financial data accurately into accounting systems
- Analyze financial information for discrepancies and trends
- Generate management reports and summaries
Compliance and Accuracy:
- Ensure compliance with policies and regulations
- Verify and rectify financial data accuracy
- Maintain organized financial documentation
- Assist in improving internal financial controls
Collaboration and Communication:
- Support senior accounting team projects
- Collaborate with departments for financial information
- Stay updated on accounting principles and practices
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in accounting
- 1+ year of experience with QuickBooks
- ACCA-finalist or CA-inter qualification
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
