Japanese To English Translator

Description:

Translate subtitles for lecture videos in English into Japanese and subtitles for lecture videos in Japanese into English.

Time coding and Transcription are not the scope of the translator's work, and they perform translation work based on pre-prepared scripts or English and Japanese subtitle files.

 The type of work of a video subtitle translator is based on the form of freelancer.

 Considering the characteristics of the media called subtitles and the viewer's position, we proceed with a natural and deliverable translation.

 Research the technical terms used in each field of lectures, and when there are pre-agreed terms, each term should be properly unified accordingly.

 Be familiar with and follow subtitle guidelines to ensure consistent work.

eligibility for application

 No experience and new employees can apply.

 You must take a small sample test.

 You should be able to work for at least 3 days a week, including weekends, and 20 minutes of video per day. The working time is flexible within a day.

preferential treatment

 a graduate of the Graduate School of Translation and Translation

 JLPT Level 1 or JPT 900 points or higher

 native English proficiency

 a person with experience in video translation

 5 working days a week (including weekends)
