Description:
We are looking to hire a talented "ITS Engineer" to develop, manage & contribute to R&D section under the scope of ITS hardware under our company’s products portfolio. In this role, you will be required to design, and implement & carry out in-depth research of ITS hardware deployed on roads/motorways.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, prototype/demo test & qualify hardware related following systems as per guidelines of the higher management (CTO or ITS Expert)
- Automatic Vehicle Identification Systems
- Automatic Vehicle Classifications Systems
- Weight in Motion Systems
- Realtime Weather Information Systems
- Advanced Traffic Management Systems
- Incident Detection Systems
- Video Surveillance Systems
- Variable Message Signage Systems, etc.,
You must be familiar with technologies, their deployment pre & post requisites as well as their maintenance procedures.
Take lead to tune/optimize & utilized currently deployed systems to the best of their ability & potential.
Support application development & O&M teams to resolve issues related to integrations & maintenance of these systems.
Maintain Knowledge base related to the above-mentioned systems for currently deployed as well as “planned” for future hardware.
Skills and Technical Competency:
- A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience ITS related solution design role.
- Bachelor’s Degree in electronics, electrical or Transportation.
- In-depth knowledge with proven expertise in RFID technologies.
- In-depth knowledge with proven expertise in Access Control Systems & technologies (PACS/VACS).
- In-depth knowledge with proven expertise in SMD displays.
- In-depth knowledge with proven expertise in AVC systems based on Fiber, Lidar sensors & IR.
- In-depth knowledge with proven expertise in enterprise level IP surveillance system design.
- In-depth knowledge familiarity with Weighing solutions (WIMS, HSWIMs, SSWIMs, Static Weight Stations) with multiple techniques & technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of Realtime weather stations with monitoring solutions preferably attuned for roads/motorways deployments.
- In-depth knowledge with proven expertise in Security Operations Center (SOC), and Traffic Operations/Control Center (TCC/TOC) designs.
- In-depth knowledge with proven expertise in Security Operations Center (SOC), and Traffic Operations/Control Center (TCC/TOC) standard operating procedures.
- In-depth knowledge with proven expertise in Video analytics (Tips & Techniques) related to Vehicles, Traffic & Tolling systems.
- Ability to present system designs in a visual form.
- Ability to provide corporate level technical write-ups.
- Team player, with ability to go solo under demanding circumstances.
