Description:

An exciting opportunity is open for a skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist to join an on-site team located in Johar Block 4. The role involves both hardware and software support, making it ideal for a candidate with a balanced technical background and hands-on experience in troubleshooting and system maintenance.

You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and upkeep of computer systems and networks, along with handling technical issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals. On the software side, the role requires managing installations, updates, and compatibility issues, while ensuring smooth performance and security of IT operations.

This role demands strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and address user queries efficiently. Candidates must have a good understanding of operating systems (especially Windows) and be familiar with basic networking concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain IT systems and networks

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues (desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals)

  • Provide support with software installations, updates, and troubleshooting

  • Monitor system performance and ensure infrastructure efficiency

  • Assist in data backup procedures and ensure data security

  • Respond to and resolve technical queries from staff in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in IT support (hardware & software)

  • Strong knowledge of Windows and related operating systems

  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals

  • Ability to independently solve technical problems

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday — 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM
