Description:
As an IT Specialist at Trucking Solutions, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure and systems within the Supply Chain sector. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless operations and provide technical support to optimize our business processes.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain IT systems, including hardware, software, networks, and servers specific to the industry.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
- Implement and oversee cybersecurity measures to protect company data and systems from unauthorized access and breaches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology needs and propose solutions that align with business goals.
- Provide technical support and training to employees on IT systems and tools to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Conduct regular system upgrades and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the industry to recommend innovative solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as an IT Specialist or similar role in the industry.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and cybersecurity protocols.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently as well as part of a team.
- Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco) are a plus.
