Key responsibilities
 

  • Develop and implement IT strategies and initiatives aligned with the company's objectives.
  • Lead and mentor the IT team, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Oversee the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including servers, PCs, operating systems, software applications, and peripherals.
  • Manage IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Collaborate with executive management to assess and address the company's technology needs.
  • Develop and maintain security and disaster recovery plans for IT systems.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure service level agreements are met.
  • Stay updated on the latest technology trends and developments, evaluating their relevance and potential impact on the organization.
  • Participate in budget planning and monitor IT expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Provide user support and resolve technical issues as needed.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations of IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Create and maintain documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and reliability of IT operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate IT systems and support their technology needs.
     

Required Qualifications
 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in managing IT teams and projects.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, and cybersecurity.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Expertise in IT governance, risk management, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to develop and execute IT budgets and manage expenses.
  • Hands-on experience with network management and troubleshooting.
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise systems, databases, and software development.
  • Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CISSP, or CCNA are preferred.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Experience in evaluating and implementing new technologies to drive business growth.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks.
  • Adaptability to rapidly changing environments and technology landscapes.
