Description:
In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the day-to-day IT operations of our company. You will be involved in diverse tasks, from troubleshooting technical issues to assisting with IT projects. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for technology and a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced IT environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support:Respond to employee inquiries and resolve IT issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Troubleshoot problems remotely or in person.
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.
- Maintain IT inventory:Keep track of IT assets, including computers, peripherals, and software licenses.
- Assist with the procurement of new IT equipment.
- Assist with IT projects:Support the implementation of new IT systems and upgrades.
- Participate in testing and rollout of new technologies.
- User account management:Create and manage user accounts and access permissions.
- Reset passwords and assist with account lockouts.
- Maintain IT documentation:Update and maintain IT documentation, including knowledge base articles and user guides.
- Contribute to IT security:Promote IT security best practices among employees.
- Assist with security audits and compliance efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 1-2 years of experience in an IT support role (or a strong internship background).
- Good understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
- Experience with Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive and helpful attitude.
