Description:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven International Business Development Manager to expand our global footprint in the home appliances industry. This role focuses on identifying and developing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with international partners, and driving revenue growth in targeted global markets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of international business practices, market dynamics, and cultural nuances. Focus markets are Middle East, Africa, South Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Expansion and Strategy:
• Conduct thorough market analysis to identify new business opportunities, emerging markets, and potential partnerships.
• Develop and implement strategic business plans to drive international market entry and growth.
• Monitor global market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify business development opportunities.
Partnership Development:
• Establish and nurture long-term relationships with international distributors, retailers, and strategic partners.
• Identify and onboard key stakeholders in target markets.
• Negotiate and close agreements to support market entry and expansion strategies.
Sales and Revenue Growth:
• Set and achieve ambitious sales targets for international markets.
• Drive customer acquisition strategies and increase the company’s market share globally.
• Collaborate with the sales team to align global strategies with regional goals and objectives.
Brand Development:
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop region-specific campaigns and promotional strategies.
• Customize product offerings and branding to meet the needs and preferences of diverse international markets.
• Represent the company at global trade shows, exhibitions, and industry conferences to promote the brand and generate leads.
Market Research and Reporting:
• Gather and analyze data on international markets, including customer behavior, competitive landscapes, and economic conditions.
• Provide regular reports to senior management on performance metrics, opportunities, and challenges in target regions.
• Use insights to adapt strategies and improve overall market positioning.
Regulatory and Compliance Oversight:
• Ensure compliance with international trade laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to navigate regional trade requirements, certifications, and standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Work with R&D and product teams to tailor offerings to international market needs.
• Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery and supply chain efficiency.
• Provide feedback to internal stakeholders to refine product development and customer service strategies.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, International Relations, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in international business development, preferably in the home appliances or manufacturing industry.
• Proven track record of establishing and growing business in international markets.
• Strong understanding of global trade regulations, market dynamics, and cultural differences.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in Arabic language.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and business intelligence tools.
• Ability to travel internationally as required.
