Integration Engineer

Description:

Integration engineer is a key contributor to API development life cycle which includes coding, testing, and releasing API’s. The individual would need to be familiar with software integration and deployment strategies, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and Kubernetes. Strong knowledge of WSO2’s suite of products and how to effectively use them for integration is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to API development lifecycle.
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code.
• Ensure designs comply with specifications.
• Prepare and produce releases of APIs.
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of various programming languages such as Java, Python.
• 3+ years of work experience in using RESTful APIs, SOAP, XML and JSON
• Excellent understanding of Java code.
• Experience in WSO2 Micro integrator I/Enterprise integrator and API manager will be a plus.
• Knowledge of any API Management tool such as apigee, kong.
• Hands on with DevOps technologies such as Docker, k8s, jenkins, git etc.
• Knowledge of MySQL db. • Knowledge of various load testing tools such as jmeter, k6 etc.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies, such as agile, waterfall, or scrum.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
