Description:
We are seeking a versatile Instructional and Graphic Designer to join our team. This hybrid role will be pivotal in developing engaging eLearning courses using Lessonly and Articulate while also creating compelling visual content to support various projects and events. You will work closely with multiple departments to produce instructional materials and graphic designs that align with our business objectives and brand identity. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and have a passion for both instructional design and graphic design.
What You'll Do
- Develop and design eLearning courses using Lessonly and Articulate, ensuring content is engaging and effective.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and create instructional materials.
- Create visually appealing presentations and decks that align with our brand guidelines and effectively communicate key messages.
- Design engaging visual content including GIFs, illustrations, and graphics for various projects and events.
- Translate complex ideas into clear, compelling visual representations that resonate with our audience.
- Maintain consistency in visual and instructional quality across all eLearning content and graphic materials.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the ongoing development of training initiatives and visual storytelling.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in instructional design, graphic design, or a related field, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in both areas.
- Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools such as Lessonly and Articulate.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and familiarity with tools such as After Effects for motion graphics (preferred).
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and design principles including typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and design trends.
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Graphic Design, or a related field is a plus.
