Injection Molding Operations Manager

Description:

Haier is seeking an Injection Molding Operations Manager to lead and manage injection molding operations and project planning activities. The role will ensure production excellence, process optimization, and timely execution of new initiatives while maintaining compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Performance Management:

  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance to achieve departmental targets and KPIs.

  • Analyze production data and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and quality.

• Project Planning & Execution:

  • Develop detailed project plans for new mold installations, machine upgrades, and process improvements.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute engineering and production-related projects.

  • Ensure project milestones are met within timelines and budgets.

• Mold & Machine Management:

  • Diagnose and resolve mold-related issues to reduce downtime.

  • Collaborate with R&D and Engineering to introduce new molds, products, or processes.

• Maintenance & Repairs:

  • Supervise preventive maintenance programs and coordinate machine repairs.

• Inventory & Spare Parts Management:

  • Maintain inventory of critical spare parts to avoid production interruptions.

  • Manage third-party material shipment tracking and local parts availability.

• System & Compliance Management:

  • Ensure compliance with SAP/WMS systems and resolve BOM-related consumption issues.

  • Adhere to ISO and other relevant regulatory standards.

• Budget & Cost Control:

  • Develop and manage departmental budgets, controlling costs related to maintenance, labor, and projects.

• 6S & Safety:

  • Implement 6S across the injection molding floor and promote a strong safety culture.

• Team Development & Training:

  • Organize and execute training programs to enhance team skills and competencies.

• Reporting & Month-End Activities:

  • Manage month-end closing procedures, including inventory and stock-taking activities.

• Additional Duties:

  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Factory or Production Manager.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical, Industrial, Polymer Engineering, or related field.

• 10–15 years of relevant experience in injection molding operations and project execution.

• 3–5 years of leadership experience in a related role.

• Strong project management skills and experience with SAP/WMS systems.
