Description:
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement software programming/scripting for automating the deployments through Azure DevOps for various application modules.
- Update or modify the existing automation scripts within ADO.
- Supporting Development, Testing, Release Management teams
- Develop automation scripts as required from time to time
- Manage and improve existing automation scripts
- Solve a variety of problems and figure out possible solutions
Basic Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelors/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in application development, programming, scripting
- Strong skills in Bash and Power shell scripting
- Proficient with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile, Test-driven development
- Good experience with developing automation scripts using bash or powershell
- Experience with yaml
- Familiar with classic models of Azure DevOps implementation
- Familiar with Release Management activities
- Familiar with ServiceNow ticketing tool
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity and/or enthusiasm with any other scripting languages is a plus
- Experience working in cloud computing environments such as Azure, Git and GitHub
- Good Communication, presentation and client facing skills. The applicant should have ability to communicate effectively in calls with business users to answer queries
