Information Technology Manager

 

Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Manager to lead our growing IT team and oversee the efficient operation and strategic development of our technology infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all IT systems, including network security, data center operations, and user support.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Leadership and Management:

* Lead, motivate, and mentor the IT team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

* Develop and implement IT strategies and roadmaps aligned with the company's business objectives.

* Manage IT budgets and resources effectively.

* Recruit, hire, and train qualified IT staff.

Technical Expertise:

* Manage and maintain all aspects of the IT infrastructure, including network devices, servers, desktops, and software applications.

* Ensure the security and integrity of company data through effective network security and data backup solutions.

* Implement, maintain, and troubleshoot FortiGate firewalls.

* Manage and support Veeam Backup and Replication software for data recovery and disaster preparedness.

* Administer and troubleshoot VMware ESXi virtualization environments.

* Possess experience working with DELL PowerEdge servers.

* Configure, manage, and maintain Cisco networking equipment.

* Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Project Management:

* Plan, manage, and execute IT projects on time and within budget.

* Identify and implement solutions to improve IT efficiency and performance.

* Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance the company's IT capabilities.

Communication and Collaboration:

* Communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff regarding IT initiatives and issues.

* Collaborate with other departments to ensure optimal support for their business needs.

* Document IT processes and procedures for efficient knowledge transfer.

 

Qualifications:

 

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

* Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar IT management role.

* Proven experience in leading and managing an IT team.

* Strong understanding of network security, data center operations, and user support best practices.

* Experience working with FortiGate firewalls, Veeam Backup and Replication software, VMware ESXi virtualization environments, DELL PowerEdge servers, and Cisco networking equipment.

* Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
