Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and customer-oriented IT Support Assistant to be deployed on-site at one of our esteemed clients' locations. This is a full-time on-site role for Head Office located in Karachi. The Information Technology Assistant will be responsible for providing technical support and problem resolution to end-users on various software applications and hardware systems. The role involves troubleshooting and diagnosing network connectivity issues, installing and configuring software, hardware, and other peripherals, and ensuring scheduled maintenance and upgrades are completed properly and in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
· Minimum of [2-3] years of experience with troubleshooting, diagnosing, and solving technical hardware and software issues
· Experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite
· Experience with deployment and management of desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
· Hands-on experience with Active Directory, including user management, group policies, and security permissions.
· Proficiency in server administration, including Windows Server operating systems.
· Knowledge of networking and cyber security protocols is a plus
· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
