Description:

The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through visual art, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to bring characters and scenes to life in a way that resonates with children.

This role involves collaborating with editors, and designers to create visually stunning illustrations that complement and enhance our books.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:

Create original illustrations for children’s books, including character design, backgrounds, and cover art.

Work closely with authors and editors to understand the vision and tone of each book and translate it into compelling visual content.

Develop sketches, storyboards, and final illustrations that align with the book's narrative and audience.

Revise and refine illustrations based on feedback from the editorial team.

Ensure consistency in style and quality across all illustrations in a book.

Stay current with children’s book illustration trends and incorporate innovative techniques and styles.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
