Description:
We are looking for a competent and detail-oriented Human Resources Officer to undertake a variety of HR duties. In this role, you will perform day-to-day operational tasks to assist the HR department. The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of Human Resources responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests.
- Assist with orientations and onboarding activities of new hires.
- Prepare employment letters, contracts, and offer letters, etc.
- Maintain records of personnel data (payroll, personal information, employee database sheet, etc.) and ensure all employment requirements are met.
- Manage employees’ leave records and timesheets.
- Liaise with other departments and/or functions (Finance, IT, etc.).
- Assist with employee engagement activities and coordinate employee events.
- Actively partake in employer’s branding activities on different social media platforms i.e., LinkedIn, and Facebook, and represent the company in different job fairs.
- Other HR day-to-day tasks as required by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or in a relevant business field.
- Must have 1.5 years of proven experience as an HR Officer or relevant human resources position.
- Strong knowledge of human resources functions, processes, and best practices.
- Experience using social media (Linked In, Twitter, Facebook, etc.).
- Strong ability in using MS Office suite (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Reliable, people person who enjoys working with a diverse range of individuals and puts employee requirements and needs first.
- Must be a team player.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and meet tight timelines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
