Human Resources Manager

 

Description:

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment, development, and retention of staff, while ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of HR functions within Sidr School. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator with a passion for supporting both the academic and administrative teams to enhance the overall work environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Staffing:
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified and diverse candidates for teaching and administrative positions.
  • Oversee the hiring process, including job postings, interviews, selection, and onboarding of new staff members.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and local employment regulations during recruitment and selection.
  • Employee Relations:
  • Act as the main point of contact for all staff-related inquiries and provide support in addressing concerns or conflicts.
  • Foster a positive working environment and promote employee well-being and satisfaction.
  • Organize regular feedback sessions and performance reviews for staff members.
  • Training & Development:
  • Identify training and development needs for staff and organize relevant workshops or professional development opportunities.
  • Help design and implement staff induction programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Promote career growth through coaching, mentoring, and leadership training programs.
  • Compensation & Benefits:
  • Manage compensation structures, including salary and benefits administration, ensuring alignment with school budget and policies.
  • Oversee payroll processing and resolve any discrepancies related to pay or benefits.
  • Compliance & Policy:
  • Ensure compliance with all local labor laws and educational regulations.
  • Maintain and update the school’s HR policies and procedures to reflect best practices and legal requirements.
  • Ensure all HR records are accurately maintained and securely stored.
  • Performance Management:
  • Oversee the performance appraisal system, ensuring timely and constructive feedback.
  • Provide guidance on performance improvement plans and staff recognition programs.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • At least 1-3 years of HR experience, with a preference for experience in an educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Strong leadership qualities and the ability to foster a collaborative and inclusive environment.
