Description:
As the Assistant HR Manager at Western Dispatch, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the HR department's operations and ensuring the well-being and productivity of our employees. You will collaborate with the HR Manager to implement HR policies and procedures, manage employee relations, and assist in various HR functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Support the HR Manager in recruiting and onboarding new employees.
- Manage employee records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate employee training and development programs.
- Assist in conducting performance evaluations and feedback sessions.
- Handle employee inquiries and resolve HR-related issues.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by collaborating with relevant departments.
- Assist in managing employee benefits, leave requests, and attendance records.
- Stay updated on labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in HR, preferably in an assistant or coordinator role.
- Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software.
