Description:

As the Assistant HR Manager at Western Dispatch, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the HR department's operations and ensuring the well-being and productivity of our employees. You will collaborate with the HR Manager to implement HR policies and procedures, manage employee relations, and assist in various HR functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support the HR Manager in recruiting and onboarding new employees.
  • Manage employee records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate employee training and development programs.
  • Assist in conducting performance evaluations and feedback sessions.
  • Handle employee inquiries and resolve HR-related issues.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by collaborating with relevant departments.
  • Assist in managing employee benefits, leave requests, and attendance records.
  • Stay updated on labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in HR, preferably in an assistant or coordinator role.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Familiarity with labor laws and regulations.
