Hr Administrator

 

Description:

We are seeking an experienced HR Administrator with a strategic mindset to join our team. This is a key role for someone who can take ownership of HR projects, drive initiatives, and handle administrative tasks independently with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in HR operations combined with the ability to contribute to broader strategic objectives and possess excellent communication skills.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage HR administrative functions, ensuring efficiency and compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Lead key HR projects, such as process improvements, policy development, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Provide strategic HR support to management, offering insights and recommendations to enhance workforce planning, retention, and development.
  • Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and best practices with rapid responses via various communication channels.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding processes, working closely with hiring managers to ensure a smooth candidate experience.
  • Maintain and update HR systems and records (preferably with BambooHR experience),
  • Coordinate performance management processes, assisting managers with appraisals, feedback sessions, and development plans.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to support business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, keeping up to date with any legislative changes.
  • Support learning and development initiatives, identifying training needs and coordinating programs to enhance employee growth.

 

Key Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in an HR administration or generalist HR role, with increasing responsibility.
  • Strong strategic HR experience, with the ability to contribute to high-level planning and decision-making.
  • Excellent project management skills, capable of leading HR initiatives from conception to implementation.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to build relationships at all levels of the organisation and write effectively.
  • Strong IT and professional communication skills; comfortable using Teams, WhatsApp, and email professionally.
  • Experience working with HR systems and data management tools.
