Description:

The core responsibilities include overseeing the installation, commissioning, and stability of cloud-based infrastructure and services, as well as ensuring uptime. This role involves configuring solutions, implementing reusable components, translating technical requirements, assisting with all stages of test data, and developing interface stubs and simulators, and managing a team of technical professionals.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Designing infrastructure solutions and proposing infrastructure as per client’s requirement according to the industry best practices

• Researching and testing new solutions and systems, and introducing products as services into the current cloud infrastructure

• Manage the team to ensure smooth 24x7 operations for deploying solutions and implementing customer scenarios, including testing at different levels. Ensure the stability and uptime of both cloud services and physical infrastructure

• Continuously evolve solutions and infrastructure towards automation

• Ensure monitoring of cloud systems and take necessary action to avoid downtime. Plan backups, redundancies, and evolve the business continuity plan

• Close coordination with vendor for resolution of technical problems and process improvements

• Work with the planning department to ensure timely deployment of software and systems, while also ensuring long-term scalability for the business

• Develop team skills on new products and solutions. Enforce and enhance standard operating procedures for the operations

Skills Required:

• Advanced Linux / Unix experience and in depth understanding of virtualization including compute, storage and networking

• Experience with Cloud systems GCP or Azure, AWS

• Knowledge of systems like OpenStack, VMware

• Understanding of Public-key cryptography, digital certificates, DNS

• Strong troubleshooting, research skills

• Strong knowledge of web-server (Apache, Nginx) and databases

• Have a strong will for self-development

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and desire to work autonomously
