Description:
The Head of Marketplaces will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and scaling BeMe Wellness’s presence across key e-commerce marketplaces, including Amazon, Walmart, and Shopify. This role is crucial for driving revenue growth, maximizing return on ad spend (ROAS), and establishing BeMe Wellness as a leading wellness brand across these platforms. The ideal candidate is a data-driven e-commerce strategist with a strong background in PPC, marketplace advertising, and platform optimization. You will work cross-functionally to ensure that all marketplace strategies align with BeMe’s brand goals and drive measurable outcomes.
Responsibilities
Marketplace Strategy & Management:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for each marketplace, focusing on maximizing brand visibility, conversions, and revenue.
- Lead the management of BeMe’s presence on Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, and emerging marketplaces to establish a cohesive, high-performance brand presence.
PPC & Advertising Optimization:
- Manage PPC and ad strategies across Amazon, Walmart, and Shopify, optimizing for performance metrics like ROAS, cost-per-click (CPC), and cost-per-conversion.
- Conduct regular A/B testing and use data-driven insights to optimize ad spend and improve campaign efficiency.
Inventory & Demand Forecasting:
- Collaborate with the Head of Operations & Supply Chain to ensure optimal inventory levels on all platforms, avoiding stock-outs while minimizing holding costs.
- Use data insights to forecast demand and adjust strategies for peak seasons, sales events, and promotions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Creative/Content team to develop conversion-focused assets for each marketplace.
- Partner with the Head of Social to align campaigns and promotions across social and marketplace channels, creating a seamless brand experience.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Monitor key metrics, including ROAS, CPC, conversion rates, and revenue growth, providing weekly updates to the CEO.
- Build and maintain dashboards to track performance across marketplaces and identify growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in e-commerce marketplace management, with a proven track record on platforms like Amazon, Walmart, and Shopify.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing marketplace data and using insights to drive performance improvements; experience with Amazon Brand Analytics, Walmart Seller Center, or equivalent.
- Advertising Expertise: Hands-on experience managing PPC campaigns on e-commerce platforms, with a focus on improving ROAS, CPC, and other performance metrics.
- Collaboration Skills: Strong ability to work cross-functionally, particularly with creative and social teams, to ensure cohesive strategies across channels.
- Tools & Technologies: Familiarity with e-commerce tools like Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Google Analytics, and ad platforms specific to each marketplace.
