Next Level HR is immediately hiring Head - Internal Audit in Karachi for a leading household non food FMCG client.

Responsible for providing independent Assurance to the board of directors and executive management with respect to the adequacy of the internal control system throughout the company.

Corporate governance - implementation, review and assessment.

Enterprise risk management - implementation, review and assessment.

Compliance - implementation, review and assessment.

Internal controls - review and assessment of business process controls, implementation of control self-assessment.

Finance and Accounting - assist in streamlining the financial closing process.

Communicate and interact with management across all functions and departments, provide consultancy, technical advice, assistance, training and instructions.

Assist the BoD in reviewing the Audit Charter.

Manage the Internal Audit Function and maintain its working as per Internal Audit Manual.

Understand Company’s risk profile, risk environment, risk appetite and control environment with a view to improve upon and provide independent and objective assurance.

Develop a comprehensive risk-based financial, operational and IT audit program with a goal of maximizing Company’s performance and control over business, while minimizing risk.

Create a moving two-year, company-wide risk-based audit plan and execute in collaboration with senior management,

Conduct regular review; define the objective and scope of each review, employing critical thinking and appropriate testing methodologies.

Prepare and present Audit Reports, findings and suggested improvement to the BoD and Management.

Provide an independent appraisal of controls over financial integrity, operational effectiveness, IT controls for security and availability, and compliance with applicable laws.

Review the implementation of new systems and procedures to guarantee the adequacy of internal controls.

Respond to Management’s requests for specific and/or special audit requests.

Ensure that the Company is operating consistently with applicable laws as well as with Company’s own policies and procedures.

Manage, plan, budget and establish objectives and determine organizational structure of the Internal Audit Department while ensuring a continuing effectiveness and efficiency of internal audit operation.

Manage and grow a team internally and utilize outside expertise, as necessary.
