Description:
We are looking for a Head of I.T. Department to oversee and manage the information technology operations and projects of our firm, which has 300 employees spread across six offices in Pakistan. Our firm is a member of a global accounting firm that has strict compliance requirements in relation to information technology and there will be reporting to the I.T related personnel of the global accounting firm. The Head of I.T. Department will be responsible for ensuring the alignment of the firm's I.T. strategy and policies with the global standards and best practices, as well as the integration and optimization of the I.T. infrastructure and systems across the offices.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the I.T. team members in each office and provide them with guidance and support.
- Develop and implement the I.T. strategy, budget, and roadmap for the firm in consultation with the senior management and the global accounting firm.
- Ensure the compliance of the firm's I.T. operations and projects with the global and local regulations, policies, and standards including GDPR, Data privacy protection policies etc.
- Manage the I.T. infrastructure and systems of the firm, including hardware, software, network, security, cloud, and data.
- Coordinate and oversee the I.T. projects and initiatives of the firm, such as system upgrades, migrations, integrations, and innovations.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance and quality of the I.T. services and systems and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting to the staff of the firm and resolve any I.T. issues or incidents.
- Establish and maintain effective communication and collaboration with the stakeholders of the firm, such as the senior management, the global accounting firm, the vendors, and the customers.
- Coordinating with social media agencies, IT service providers and website managers and ensuring that the website remains updated and relevant.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in I.T. management, preferably in the accounting or professional services industry.
- Proven track record of leading and delivering successful I.T. projects and solutions.
- Strong knowledge and skills in I.T. infrastructure, systems, security, cloud, and data.
- Familiarity with the global and local I.T. standards and regulations in the accounting or professional services industry.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and prioritize.
- Fluency in English is a must.
