Description:
Strategy Development - Participates in Corporate Strategy Development Process. Identifies strategic objectives for IT. Ensures process is in place for planning & budgeting of IT. Ensures efficient & cost effective implementation of information technology. Defines and maintains Information Technology Strategy & Roadmap. Defines and maintains Enterprise Information Architecture.
Project Portfolio Management - Defines & maintains IT Project Portfolio Management Methodology. Creates and maintains IT Project Portfolio to ensure delivery of IT objectives. Ensures approved Programs & Projects are thoroughly planned. Ensures appropriate measures are being taken to address change issues. Ensures status and performance reporting. Ensures administrative and financial closures of the projects / programs.
Services Portfolio Management - Ensures Service Architecture is properly defined to meet Service Requirements. Ensures Service components are available is per Service Architecture. Ensures appropriate Service Level Agreements exists for each Service component before service is Commissioned. Ensures appropriate DR plans are defined. Ensures support mechanisms and levels are aligned before service is commissioned. Ensures life cycle of commissioned services is managed as per ITIL standards.
Governance, Risk & Compliance - Ensures functioning of all sections of IT in alignment with their respective assigned roles. Facilitates and ensures development and management of policies related to IT services in organization. Facilitates and ensures development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures across IT. Monitors, tracks & mitigates for functional & technical risks. Ensures compliance with global standards like (PMBOK, ITIL, ISO 27000, COBIT, TOGAF). Ensures transparency in execution of purchases, service contracts and vendor agreements. Proactively reports & tracks with management on Governance, Risk & Compliance related issues.
Asset Management - Ensures management of IT Assets throughout the asset life cycle. Ensures best practices are followed in operating and maintaining IT Assets. Ensures assets are appropriately registered, tagged and tracked. Monitors proactively for any misuse or violation of usage of IT assets.
HR Management - Defines and maintains structure of IT organization to perform and deliver as per organizations needs. Ensures compensation strategy & plan exists in accordance with market situations. Ensures succession plan exists for critical position. Ensures appropriate career paths for key resources. Ensures team members are trained on latest technology skills relevant to their respective areas.
